short update

Well, Chad and I are at Grygla this weekend. My grandmother died and we had the visitation Thursday and funeral Friday. She was 81 years old and had suffered from Parkinson's disease for myany, many years. Her suffering is over now. We will miss her though.

My brother Luke got to come home from Iraq for the funeral. It's been really nice to see him and the rest of the family.

Other than that, not much to report. We're still moving to Lakota the end of the month. Chad wants to set up the Internet so it's all ready to go the day we move in. He's getting tired of not having Internet, haha.

Well, talk to you all later.

Another sporatic post

Well, here I am, surfacing again briefly. We tried to get Internet at our apartment but we can only get it if we have a phone line, and it’s not worth it for only being there a month. But once we get to Lakota we’ll get Internet finally. So then I will start blogging again more regularly.

We’re at my parents this weekend. My sister Penny and her boys, Oliver and Eli, are here too. The only ones missing are Penny’s husband Jose, who had to work this weekend, and my brother Luke, who’s still in Iraq. His year is coming to an end though, which is good. He thinks he will be back in the states by October. So he’s counting the days and minutes. We’ll all have to get together again then.

It’s been really, really nice to have Chad in Grand Forks. I can’t believe it stretched on for five months. Let me tell you, I hope I never, never have to do anything like that again. It’s been so nice to come home from work and have him there, waiting for me. His classes start sometime around Aug. 20 or so, so I’m wanting to make the most of the time before he has to get back to the grind again. I really want to go camping!! Hopefully we can do that before the summer passes by in a blur, as usual.

Other than that, not much of an update to give. Talk to everyone later!
