the move, finally

OK. So.

We're moving this weekend. We thought it wasn't going to be until next week, but now we have to be out by Wednesday. And I'm in Wisconsin for work Tuesday through Thursday. So I got Monday off and the family is flying to our rescue, and off we go!

It makes for a stressful weekend. But it's great that this is all going to be done soon. And Chad will be in GF with me, imagine that!!! After only five months of phone calls and weekend trips to see him. SO, so, sososososo glad that's over.

Anyway, not sure when we'll have Internet access again. We have to move to Lakota end of July so Chad can go to school in Devils Lake and I can work in GF so it might not be until after that. (Giving the apartment in GF a month notice and saving on the daily 120 mile round trip commute I'll be doing from Lakota.) And I refuse to even check my blog while at work. People get fired that way...when the powers that be read their blogs, I mean. So I don't know that I will be updating much at all. We'll see.

Anyway, yay for selling the house. Cross your fingers everybody. I won't really feel totally happy until those papers are all signed. Later!

the quickie

Well, I thought I'd just update really quick. I'm just putting one foot in front of the other til this is done. I found us an apartment between Grand Forks and Devils Lake where Chad's starting classes in August. I also took the cats home to stay in Jamestown a couple of weeks since I go to a confernce for four days, not this week but next. They are SO happy to be home!!
